Same as you. Age of Empires 4 has recently invigorated my love of RTS having been away from it some time.
Battery is an issue for me mostly because I have kids and a single controller. By the time I get to play, it has been just left on and discarded in the room so it's dead by the time I get to play. I wish it was hot swappable as buying another battery unit would be better for me than buying a 2nd controller (which is expensive).
I think a lot of people preferred the S, I am in the minority for sure, but there are a few of us out there :P
The duke controller as well. That was a really comfortable controller for bigger hands... looked ugly, but great to use.
I agree with your first sentence, they're coming whether we like it or not.
But not your second sentence, it will be bad.
GT is a sim at it's heart, but generally accessible with loads of good tutorials, modes and driver aids that allow you to learn at your own pace. I would be surprised if this is any different.
Nice! I am buying 1 at a time myself, with the hope that a couple drop a few quid by the time I buy them.
You're not wrong, but I will be certainly pausing my Halo time to indulge in playing through HFW
I think a subset of gamers wished it upon themselves as well. People have a habit of relating hours of content to monetary value. As in "it was worth my money because it has x hours of game time". When others like myself look at it a value - experience.
I thought it would annoy me... but it didn't. I found that game a pretty chill experience (well apart from running into a horde)... I actually enjoyed pulling over, fueling up, exploring a bit. I get why others wouldn't like it, but for myself... yeah chill.
If a game has multiple endings, I have a habit of researching how I get the "good" ending so I don't cock it up. This normally involved me reading all kinds of spoilers to do so.
When they don't and I.E what is being proposed here... I just enjoy myself more and go through at my own pace, without spoiling anything for myself.
So I am happy with that :)
I think for a gamer who follows the industry it wasn't confusing. However, the Wii did well in selling outside of the conventional gamer space. Even my Mum bought one and she had never even considered playing a games console before or since. It was people like that who wouldn't have a clue what the difference is between a Wii and a Wii U.
Agreed, I never actually saw a 3DO make it to retailers in the UK. At least the Atari Jaguar was sold for around 6 months.
Same here, I think it just see potential for something a bit different from the norm.
I was lucky to nab 3060TI founders at RRP using discord stock trackers. It's a great card for the price, I would love a 3080... but I unless I happen to trip on an RRP one, I will make do for now.
This game is a lot more fun than I expected it to be. I couldn't play solo though... I definitely need someone to hold my hand as I clown my way about.
I am still slowly getting through Demon Souls (Dad gamer so slooooow)... But I might need to put it on pause to play HFW as a bit of a breather. Infact... this month there are a ton of games I want to play, I just need to figure out where I begin. February releases will likely keep me busy all year long.
I had server issues for the first few months myself. But people lost their minds over censorship and representation of various characters (mostly of the female kind)... and general DRM.
I think the dangled carrot may be, allow xbox gamespass on your system and you can have the games type of deal.
I got no idea... but just a thought that popped in my head.
Thanks Futureshark, that will help a lot. They mostly just watch TV on it, so having it power down when idle faster might give me a hope come the evening :)
